Wild Canyons and Rafting 5-Day Road Trip

You’ll have the chance to really immerse yourself in the highlights of the Grand Canyon region on this 5-day Wild Canyons and Rafting Road Trip. Your trip begins in the charming mountain town of Flagstaff, AZ which is the perfect jumping off point to the South Rim. There, you will enjoy the convenience of in-park lodging that gives you easy access to historic Grand Canyon Village and beautiful canyon views, just a few minutes’ walk from your lodge. Spend time exploring Grand Canyon Village’s unique historic structures like the El Tovar, Hopi House, and Train Depot, and stop for food or drinks that comes with a view of the largest canyon in the world. The next day you will wake up and explore a different part of the canyon on one of Grand Canyon’s most iconic residents, its mules. This guided mule ride takes you right along the rim where you will get epic photo ops and learn more about what makes the canyon so unique. The next day’s adventure takes you out of the park and starts with a memorable scenic plane ride over the canyon. Upon landing you will embark on a thrilling adventure that includes both trekking through a world-famous slot canyon, Antelope Canyon, and a smooth water float trip down the Colorado River where you can gaze up 1000 feet to the rim above you as you float through Horseshoe Bend. You’ll return to the canyon for one more night, and hopefully one more captivating Grand Canyon sunset. The next day takes you further into the park as you drive the whole length of scenic Desert View Drive. Stop at any of the signed overlooks for a unique view of the canyon from each, but don’t miss the chance to climb the iconic Desert View Watchtower. From there you still travel through the Painted Desert, stopping at two beautiful national monuments on the way. Both sites show you amazing examples of what makes the Grand Canyon region so unique, from its indigenous culture to its volcanos. From there, head back to Flagstaff for one last evening of fun. Explore the historic downtown on foot where you can partake of its Brewery Trail, grab some delicious southwestern fare, or do some shopping at the cute mom and pop shops. Your last day is an easy departure with your return flight leaving from the small and conveniently located Flagstaff Airport. Check out this itinerary!

Sedona and Grand Canyon 5-Day Vacation

Charming Flagstaff, AZ is the perfect place to kick off your iconic 5-day southwest excursion to Grand Canyon and Sedona.
