The next day you set out to take in the best view of the largest canyon on Earth – from the air. Summer National Parks Road Trip
Set out on an epic 9-day Southwest National Parks Summer Trip that ensures you see the natural highlights, have plenty of adventure, and don’t miss a thing along the way. Your trip begins when you touchdown in glamorous Las Vegas, NV before you head out of town on an easy road trip to Zion National Park. You’ll check into your accommodations right outside of Zion National Park and you can spend the evening strolling through town for a bite to eat or head into the park for some photos and hikes. The next day takes you into the heart of Zion Canyon with a hike into the Narrows slot canyon. Grab your gear in town and then look up at the soaring walls of the Narrows as you enjoy the refreshingly cool waters of the Virgin River flowing over your legs. The next day bring a scenic road trip through Red Rock Canyon before you get to Bryce Canyon City. There, you’ll hop on ATVs for a guided adventure to a private access area with incredible views of the red rock amphitheater and hoodoos rock formations. Settle into your hotel for the night so you’re rested for a guided tour of Bryce the next day. This tour will take you to all the park’s highlights with time to hike along the way. The next day you’ll get back on the water for a guided Lake Powell kayak trip that leads you to a private access entrance to Antelope Canyon where you will then be able to hike through the twists and turns of the slot canyon as you take photos of the light filtering in from above. Hit the road again and stop at Lees Ferry for an unforgettable paddle down the Colorado River through Horseshoe Bend. You’ll be transported by motorboat 15 miles upstream and then you can take your time paddling, exploring the beaches, and gazing up at the soaring walls of Glen Canyon.
