- Touch down in fun-filled Las Vegas, NV for your Utah National Park Road Trip. From there enjoy an easy drive to the outskirts of Zion.

- Travel to Bryce Canyon through stunning Red Canyon and get your first glimpse of the park as the sun goes down.
- Saddle up and ride a horse or mule into the heart of Bryce where you will learn about the park and have photo ops of the hoodoo rock formations and sweeping desert views beyond.
- Travel scenic Highway 12 through the heart of the Grand Staircase. Stop at overlooks and state parks along the way.
- Meet your guide for a 4x4 adventure in the Staircase’s rugged backcountry to access and explore a photogenic slot canyon on foot.

- Travel through Cathedral Valley and Capitol Reef on a 4x4 Jeep adventure that gets you off the beaten path and up close to the views.
- Road trip through Utah’s scenic high country for a stop at Cedar Breaks. Take a hike to really experience the subalpine magic of this “Mini Bryce.”
- Stay the night in nearby Cedar City for an easy return trip to the Las Vegas airport the next day.
Tour Itinerary Details
Day 1: Las Vegas to Zion National Park
You’ll touch down in the City of Lights which provides a convenient starting point for your Utah adventure. An easy road trip north will bring you to the outskirts of Zion National Park. After checking into your surprisingly luxurious glamping resort surrounded by red rocks and huge Southwestern skies, you’ll set out on a 4x4 backcountry adventure in a guided open-air Jeep tour of the area. You’ll climb up high to view Zion and Kolob Canyons from above, hitting the summit just in time to watch the rocks change colors in an iconic desert sunset. You’ll enjoy a cozy campfire with s’mores and dark skies before you settle in for the night in your well-appointed tent cabin.
Day 2: Zion National Park eBikes
Avoid the hustle and bustle of one of Utah’s favorite and busiest national parks by traveling on e-bikes through Zion Canyon instead. You’ll start off right outside of the park and travel on safe greenways and roads that take you into the heart of the park. You can choose how much exercise you want to get as you stop at the famous views along the way including the Weeping Wall, Emerald Pools, and Zion Narrows slot canyon. Pack a picnic for the day or stop for lunch with a view at the Zion Lodge while you ride. At the end of your ride, you will take a Utah road trip up to Bryce Canyon which includes unforgettable Red Canyon along the way. If you have time, catch a sunset over Bryce’s vibrantly colored rocks.
Day 3: Bryce Horseback Adventure
You can’t go to Bryce Canyon without exploring the colorful hoodoos, and you will have the best seat of the house on a guided horseback or mule adventure. Set off at the top of Bryce Canyon which offers sweeping views of the rock formations both in the park and the Grand Staircase beyond. You’ll then head down into the base of the canyon where your horse will weave between some of the park’s most famous rock formations before taking you all the way back up to the rim. You then have the rest of the day to explore Bryce whether you want to embark on a scenic drive or do some hiking. Return to your Bryce Canyon City hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 4: Bryce to Capitol Reef – Escalante Slot Canyon
You’ll have one of the most beautiful stretches of road in front of you today as you head out across Highway 12 into the heart of Grand Staircase – Escalante. The Grand Staircase is known for its rugged terrain which includes numerous slot canyons, some of which have yet to be fully explored and you will set out on a guided adventure that takes you to a particularly beautiful slot canyon that you can explore in depth on foot. You’ll love every twist and turn of the scenic slot that offers endless photo ops unlike anything else. Enjoy lunch in the backcountry before heading further down the road to your unique and modern lodging for a sunset cocktail on the rooftop.
Day 5: Capitol Reef 4x4 Adventure
Today gets you out into the backcountry on a guided 4x4 Jeep adventure that takes you to the highlights of Capitol Reef’s sweeping landscapes. Learn about the geologic and human history of the area as your guide expertly navigates the twists and turns to get you up close to the rock formations along the way. You’ll have plenty of time to explore and hike, and you’ll enjoy an unforgettable lunch on the trail. Head back to your amazing accommodations to refresh before eating at one of the charming local restaurants for dinner. Enjoy one last cold drink on the roof before calling it a day.
Day 6: Capitol Reef to Cedar Breaks
You’ll feel refreshed traveling through some of Utah’s cool and lush high-country on your way to Cedar Breaks National Monument. Stop at any of the charming mountain town family restaurants on your way to the park. Cedar Breaks is known for having the highest elevation visitor in any national park site, and the subalpine ecosystem is undeniably pretty against the park’s vibrant red rocks. Often referred to as “Mini Bryce,” you’ll take a hike that shows you the park’s stunning hoodoos and, if you time it right, you might be able to catch an incredible display of subalpine wildflowers that are so beautiful the park throws an annual festival to highlight them. From there, you’ll descend into Cedar City for some comfortable and convenient lodging on your last night.
Day 7: Cedar City to Las Vegas
Grab breakfast and head down the interstate from Cedar City for an easy trip back to Las Vegas. Depart from the Las Vegas airport for your flight home.
