Grand Canyon Music Festival
Founded in 1983, the Grand Canyon Music Festival is one of Grand Canyon's longest running and most beloved annual events featuring ensembles, composers, and musicians whose music is inspired by the spirit of the canyon. The late summer festival (usually in late August/early September) brings some of instrumental music's top names to the Shrine of the Ages in the heart of Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim. While the lineup varies from year to year, your ears could be treated to the sounds of everything from harmonicas to electric violins and vocalists to storytellers. Grand Canyon Music Festival concerts can be attended with a small recommended donation that will help fund next year's lineup for other music lovers. To learn more go grandcanyonmusicfest.org
