Grand Canyon North Rim Hotels

North Rim Hotels and Lodging

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is a seasonal destination open from May 15th until October 15th. The North Rim lodge is the only hotel option in Grand Canyon National Park, but there is also a small lodge in Jacob Lake about 1/2 hour from the park and the Kaibab Lodge even closer to North Rim village. The North Rim has a lot less traffic than the South Rim but is equally as beautiful and even more appealing for travelers who want a bit more solitude. Read the guide below to learn more about North Rim hotel options for your Grand Canyon adventure or book a room for your trip.

Jacob Lake Inn

The Jacob lake Inn is an hour drive from the Grand Canyon's North Rim in the small town of Jacob Lake, AZ.  From Jacob Lake, seasonal (May 15th - First Snow or Dec 1st) Highway 67 is the road that takes visitors to the North Rim. Along with the lodge there is also a restaurant, but what this old building is really know for is its whole made cookies, and extra thick shakes.  There is also a seasonal visitor center and campground run by the forest service in Jacob Lake on the way to the canyon.
